The Annual ASNOA Sales Conferences & Trade Shows provide practical solutions for agency members that directly lead to increased sales. We are using our headquartered event in Illinois to pilot a new conference format as part of our efforts to continuously advance our offerings to our agents. FOR THIS EVENT ONLY, we will have two learning tracks with breakout sessions. See the agenda below for details.

What's New?

We are shaking things up by introducing a new program geared towards greater educational and entertainment value. Sessions will be focused on key problems and solutions insurance agency owners face every day; all led by industry experts in addition to carrier presenters. Topics include How to Hire and Keep Top Talent CSRs, Highest Revenue Markets, and How To Scale Without Failing. We are also adjusting our format to keep you moving and engaged throughout the day to encourage deeper discussions and personalized experiences. And lastly, we will provide materials and takeaways exclusive to attendees, so you have an arm full of proven tactics, best practices, case studies and more to use well beyond the event.

You are known as the local agent in your community with the best customer service and expertise. Now, the hard part should be over, right? But how do you translate that success online? It all seems to cost so much money and it's hard to determine the immediate return. During this session, we will work through strategies, proven tactics, and practical/affordable solutions to help you get found, engage with and convert customers online.

TRACK 2: Agency Tune-Up

Every now and then even the fastest and most reliant car needs a good tuneup. It's how you ensure your engine stays running at top speeds for as long as possible. Stopping your busy sales day to run a "tuneup" on your business can directly lead to profitability and sustainability long term. But where do you start and how do you know what solutions and business practices are actually worth the investment in time and/or money? Take a half hour to hear from experts, gather ideas and walk away with new plans to help you more efficiently accelerate your business operations and growth.

Everyone knows word-of-mouth is king. And, you hear over and over again how more than 80% of people read reviews online before making any purchasing decision these days. So how do you attract reviews, that then attract other reviews, that then lead to new customers. Social selling works the same. In its simplest form, social selling is simply using social media to interact and attract customers. But it can go so much further than that. Just like with reviews, you can use your followers online to market for you and, ultimately, generate more followers and sales leads. AND IT'S ALL FREE. This session will go over best practices, tips, and tricks to generating a following, using social media and reviews to generate further buzz and, at the end of the day, bring more clients to your door.

TRACK 2: Scale Without Fail

You have your vision, you're an insurance selling machine, but how do you expand the number of clients you serve and the markets you write in without overtaxing your current employees and office systems. Gain new growth management solutions to help your team work more efficiently and increase the likeliness your business operations can manageably and sustainably scale to meet your goals.

Limit the number of lost opportunities your employees have when on the phone servicing a client for a simple phone # change or policy payment. Discover new reasonable options to help clients self-serve online for bill payments, ID cards, simple changes... so your staff is freed up to gain new clients and recapture old ones.

TRACK 2: Hiring Top Talented CSR's and Keeping Them!

The time, money and effort it takes to recruit, interview, vet and train new employees is a nightmare. So how do you wisely spend your money to find the right agent, utilize resources effectively to train the new recruit, and maintain an office environment, pay scale, career ladder, and benefits package that stays competitive in the job market? We can't promise to solve all of the above for you in a half hour, but this session will work towards providing action steps and solutions that help you build a company everyone wants to spend their career in.

TRACK 1: How To Compete Against Insurance Giants with Millions for Marketing

So you don't have millions of dollars to put toward catchy commercials that can run during the Superbowl. When it comes down to really attracting the local client and maintaining true brand loyalty you don't need millions, you just need a good Public Relations (PR) plan in place. Spend 30 minutes going over different ways you can attract your clients' attention without breaking the bank, build your brand awareness, and have a little fun while doing it. Attendees will receive an ASNOA Event Kit to help plan community awareness events to build their PR.

TRACK 2: How to Properly Protect Your Business

E&O, Cybersecurity, anti-spam laws, intellectual property...all these things are big, bad concerns for business owners. Take 30 minutes to refresh on ways to affordably protect everything you have worked so hard to build. This session will also cover the latest happenings in cybersecurity laws that directly affect how you manage your client data.

This will be followed by a 15-minute break.
